  • How do I book a buddy?

    On the services page, simply - 1. Choose the size of the item you need assembled (small, medium or large). 2. Choose when you’d like your buddy to show up. 3. Pay your deposit and fill out the intake form. - Your buddy will show up at the scheduled appointment ready to assemble your furniture!

  • What qualifies as a small, medium, or large item?

    Small: Side tables, chairs, wall shelves, etc.

    Medium: Dressers, desks, nightstands, etc.

    Large: Beds, wardrobes, shelving units, etc.

  • Do I need to schedule a time when I book?

    Yes. You’ll be prompted to choose an appointment time after you select your item size.

  • Do you bring tools?

    Yes! Your buddy will come fully prepared with all the necessary tools to get the job done.

  • How long does assembly take?

    Depends on the complexity and size of the item. This is why we charge per item, instead of by the hour, so you don’t have to worry about an expensive visit.

  • Can I book more than one item at once?

    If you have more than one item you’d like built by your buddy, please reach out before making your appointment to let us know beforehand. This was we can plan accordingly.

  • What areas do you serve?

    We currently only serve the city of Burbank, CA

  • What kind of furniture do you assemble?

    We assemble flat-packed furniture. Typically this included IKEA, Amazon and Wayfair. In other words, if it comes in a box, Your Build Buddy will take care of it.

  • Is there anything you don’t assemble?

    We don’t install appliances, wall-mount TVs, do electrical work or assemble custom cabinetry. If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies, feel free to reach out before booking!
